However, their unsatisfactory response prompted its demolition ahead of a July 15 deadline. The government intends to establish a public health center on the site. Moreover, the authorities have adopted a zero-tolerance stance against land mafias and similar illegal activities. The prime suspect, Raju Barman, a former club secretary, was recently apprehended in Guwahati.
