While returning to school may be the last thing on your child’s mind right now, Somerset County schools are already preparing to reopen for the 2024-2025 school year.

We look ahead to when Somerset County students will be back in school and provide a quick link to each district’s school calendar. Most districts don’t ring the bell until after Labor Day.

Students in grades 1-8 in the Bedminster School District will begin school on September 5 for the 2024-2025 school year.

Students in grades 1-12 in the Bernards School District will return to school on September 5.

The kindergarten through high school school year begins September 5 at Bound Brook School District.

Students in grades 1-8 will return to school on September 5 in the Branchburg School District.

Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District will reopen on September 4 for students in kindergarten through high school.

Central Jersey College Prep Charter School, an elementary and middle school, welcomes students for the new school year on September 3.

Franklin Township School District will reopen on September 5 for students in kindergarten through high school.

Green Brook School District students in kindergarten through high school will return on August 29.

On September 3, students will return to the classrooms at Immaculata High School.

Students from kindergarten through high school in Manville School District will return to school on September 3.

Montgomery School District will reopen on September 5 for students in kindergarten through high school.

Students at Mount Saint Mary Academy, grades 9-12, will return on September 4.

The North Plainfield School District’s preschool through high school school year begins September 3.

The students of the Pingry School start the school year on September 4th.

Ridge High School will reopen to students on September 5.

Students from Rutgers Preparatory School will return to campus on September 3.

Students attending schools in the Somerset County Educational Services Commission School District will return to school on September 5.

Somerset County Vocational and Technical Schools District will reopen to students on September 5.

Students from kindergarten through high school will return to school on September 5 in the Somerset Hills School District.

Somerville School District will welcome back its students from kindergarten through high school on September 4.

South Bound Brook School District will reopen on September 3 for students in kindergarten through high school.

Students at Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School for grades 1 through 12 will be allowed to return to school starting August 28.
