Rotary Club of Augusta Announces New PresidentRotary Club of Augusta Announces New President The Rotary Club of Augusta has elected Surendra Gupta as its president for the 2024-2025 term. Gupta was installed on June 24 by outgoing president Bill Keogh. Gupta has been a member of the Rotary Club of Augusta since 2018. He is a licensed engineer and holds a Project Management Professional certification. Gupta has also served in various leadership roles with organizations such as the American Red Cross, AARP Tax Aide Foundation, and Project Management Institute. As president, Gupta plans to focus on several key initiatives, including: * Community service: Expanding the club’s community outreach efforts, with a particular focus on supporting the homeless and underserved populations. * Membership growth: Recruiting new members to the club, particularly younger professionals and individuals from diverse backgrounds. * Leadership development: Providing opportunities for club members to develop their leadership skills and take on leadership roles within the organization. Gupta is excited to lead the Rotary Club of Augusta and contribute to the impact it has on the community. He believes that through collaboration and service, the club can make a meaningful difference in Augusta.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The Rotary Club of Augusta has announced that Surendra Gupta has been officially installed as its president for the 2024-2025 term.

Gupta was officially installed on June 24 by Bill Keogh, the outgoing president. His term runs from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025.

Gupta has been a member of the Rotary Club of Augusta since 2018. He is a licensed engineer and holds a Project Management Professional certification.

Over the past 25 years, Gupta has served as a volunteer and held leadership positions at the following organizations: American Red Cross, Springlakes Homeowners Association, AARP Tax Aide Foundation, Toastmasters International, Project Management Institute, National Management Association, Easter Seals, and Creative Value Creation International.
