Trainee IAS officer Pooja Khedkar is accused of submitting fake disability and OBC certificates to clear the civil services exam. The investigation into the matter is still on and the names of more IAS officers have surfaced. Questions are being raised about them on social media. After Pooja Khedkar, more names have come into the limelight, including former IAS Abhishek Singh. Abhishek Singh is also accused of becoming an IAS under the disability quota.

In a recent development, the case of 2016 batch IAS officer Asif K Yusuf has also created controversy. Yusuf is accused of forging an income certificate to illegally avail benefits under the Other Backward Classes (OBC) reservation category. Following the directions of the central government, the state administration has initiated an investigation based on the findings of the chief secretary’s report. Questions are also being raised in this regard on social media.

Anu Beniwal: Her father was an IPS officer. In her case, there are claims on social media about how she was selected under EWS quota despite being the daughter of an IPS officer. Anu Beniwal is an IPS officer.

Nikita Khandelwal: It is being claimed on social media that Nikita Khandelwal of the 2014 batch has been selected from the general category under the quota for visually impaired. At the same time, a video is being shared in which she is taking her driving test without glasses.

Priyanshu eats: He/She is an IAS officer of 2021 batch. He/She secured rank 245 in civil services examination. It is being claimed on social media that he/she has submitted a disability certificate regarding orthopedic disability. There is a discussion on social media that he/she is fully fit as is evident from many of his/her social media posts.
