“To support local neighbourhoods in defending their local areas, we will establish the ‘Adopt a Patch’ programme, allowing communities to adopt their local alleys, verges or similar public spaces and renovate them as natural habitats, with access to small-scale grants and free native plants, without the need to establish an ongoing Urban Park Group,” the party said.
