There are plenty of jobs where you can earn more than £25 an hour, which equates to an annual salary of almost £43,000 a year, well above the national average.

According to data from job site Adzuna, shared exclusively with the Sun, the highest-paying jobs that don’t require you to spend money on university courses or training include Agile Coach, Court Reporter and Childminder.
Adzuna co-founder Andrew Hunter said: “With the national minimum wage rising by almost 10% to £11.44 this April, there is exciting news for jobseekers.
“Many hourly roles now offer upwards of £20 per hour and don’t require a degree. For job seekers looking to balance income and lifestyle, these roles are a golden opportunity.
“Whether you’re in creative roles like UI designer or practical roles like Rope Access Technician, these jobs not only pay well but also offer flexibility to fit in your life outside of work.”
The highest paying job on the list was rope access consultant, a person who works on a rope and performs tasks such as window cleaning, painting, welding, pressure washing and other maintenance tasks.
According to Adzuna, this pays £30 per hour, which equates to a full-time salary of over £50,000 per year.
At the bottom of the top ten was a farrier. This is someone who is an expert in caring for horses’ hooves and shoeing horses.
You will be paid £18.77 per hour for this, which equates to a salary of over £36,600 if you work 37.5 hours per week (a standard week).

If you are willing to undertake more extensive training, such as by paying for courses or through on-the-job apprenticeships, you may be able to earn an even more lucrative salary.
For example, a previous study into the least competitive jobs found that the average advertised salary for a tax specialist was £55,673. This role is accessible through apprenticeships.
For audit specialist roles, a similar field, an average salary of £44,022 is advertised.
Loss adjusters, who help insurance companies investigate insurance claims and calculate losses and payouts, often have an apprenticeship as well. The average annual salary for these roles is £42,149.
Piano teachers and wedding planners also earn around £30/hour.
For comparison, the national minimum wage for someone aged 21 and over is just £11.44 per hour.
And the national minimum wage for those aged 18 to 20 is just £8.60 an hour.
