As a result, he will have to start the race at the rear of the field, serve a pass-through penalty, and lose pit selection at Indianapolis. The penalty is a significant setback for Poole, who has been performing well this season. He currently sits 16th in points, 129 points outside of the playoffs. However, Poole is known for his resilience, and he will be looking to make the most of his car despite the penalty. Poole is driving for Alpha Prime Racing this season, and he has been a key part of their development. The team has struggled in the past, but they are building a program to be competitive, and Poole is a big reason why. Poole is a young and exciting prospect, and he has a lot of potential. He is still trying to find the best fit for himself, but he is confident that he can be a successful driver in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Brennan Poole is going to have a rough start to the race this afternoon at Pocono Raceway in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. An unapproved adjustment after inspection will have him starting at the rear, serving a pass-through, and losing pit selection at Indianapolis.

NASCAR does not play around about post-inspection adjustments. Once that car is checked, they don’t want anything messed with. Of course, there are times when teams have to make adjustments for various reasons.

Whatever the adjustment was, I hope it was worth it. This is going to be a serious penalty for Brennan Poole when it is all said and done. Poole will start about half a lap down to the rest of the field.

Brennan Poole is with Alpha Prime Racing in the 44 this season. He took the JD Motorsports No. 6 car to 24th in points last season. He has put this No. 44 cars in the top-20 more times than not. Currently, he sits 16th in points, 129 points outside of the playoffs.

Don’t count out Poole. Daytona is coming up and there’s always a shot to win there.

Today at Pocono, Poole went out and ran in the middle of the pack in qualifying. He had to run a qualifying lap despite going to the rear at the start of the race. This is so he doesn’t get an extra set of sticker tires for the race. Have to scuff up that qualifying set.

Brennan Poole getting the most out of his car

Look, if we are honest about it, Alpha Prime Racing has had struggles in the past. They are building a program to be competitive and that is a big reason why Brennan Poole is in their car full-time.

Poole was a young, exciting prospect as he came up through the ranks. He gave the Cup Series a shot in 2020 but it didn’t work out how he imagined it would. With Chip Ganassi Racing in the Xfinity Series, Poole put up impressive performances. It wasn’t enough to keep him there.

Now Poole is trying to find the best fit for himself. That is major for a driver at this point in his career. He clearly wants to be happy in his seat and knows that he is doing something to make the team better each and ever week.

While the stats don’t fly off the chart when you look at them, Brennan Poole is putting up a respectable season in that equipment. He’s just going to have a much tougher job today after the penalty.
