The Clippers only had one pick, which came in the second round, and they selected Cam Christie out of Minnesota. He is the younger brother of Max Christie, who currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers, so now we have the Christie brothers in the same city, but in different organizations. For Cam Christie, his best attribute is his elite shooting ability.

He has great shot formation, mechanics and touch, making him one of the best spot-up threats in the draft. Christie has shown that he can be a tough shot-maker, as he has a smooth pull-up jumper and can convert tough contested shots. In addition to his great shooting versatility, Christie is also a solid passer who plays with a lot of unselfishness.

The 6-foot-6 wing does a solid job of giving it to the rollers when they’re open on a dribble handoff or a ball screen. Christie is still very young and has a lot of potential, so it’s important for him to continue to improve his game in multiple areas if he wants to get consistent minutes on an NBA team.

The Clippers may be in trouble now that they lost Paul George for nothing, but with Leonard and Harden as elite players, they have a chance to compete in the playoffs.
