Police are yet to determine the manner in which he killed himself. Background of the Case On July 6, a 14-year-old class IX student was found brutally murdered at KG Palem village in Rambilli Mandal. The accused, Suresh, was a driver by profession and was known to be infatuated with the victim. He had proposed marriage to her, but her family had rejected it. Investigation and Arrest Anakapalli police had formed 12 teams to apprehend Suresh. They had also announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for information leading to his capture. Suresh was eventually taken into custody and booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. However, he was later released on bail. Motive for Murder Sources claim that Suresh harbored resentment towards the girl, believing that she was responsible for his imprisonment and for rejecting his proposal. It is alleged that he returned to her house on July 6 and killed her in a fit of rage. The body has been shifted for autopsy and there is no sign of injuries on the body. Police are yet to reveal how he killed himself.

According to Anakapalli superintendent of police KV Murali Krishna, a 14-year-old class IX student was hacked to death on July 6 at KG Palem village in Rambilli Mandal. As many as 12 police teams were formed to arrest B Suresh, a driver by profession.

Police had also announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for info about the accused.

Suresh who was ‘fanatically in love’ with the girl murdered the minor girl on Saturday around 6 pm. On July 6, Suresh barged into the victim’s house and slit her throat. According to sources, Suresh wanted to marry the girl and even promised that he would wait until she turned a major, but her family refused this proposal.

Incidentally, the girl’s family lodged a complaint with police against Suresh in April, which also resulted in his remand. He was booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

However, he came out of prison on bail and nursed a grudge against the girl that she was responsible for his imprisonment and also for rejecting his proposal.
