Led by senior coach Ivan Maric, the Tigers put the young players through their paces at Centennial Stadium, covering everything from ball handling and kicking skills to game strategy. “It’s great to see so many kids come down and be keen to learn,” Maric said. “We want to help them develop their footy skills, but also to inspire them to keep playing the game they love.” Among the Tigers players who volunteered their time were captain Jack Riewoldt, Dion Prestia, and Toby Nankervis. “It’s a great opportunity to give back to the community and help the next generation of footy players,” said Riewoldt. “We hope they learn something from us and continue to improve their game.” The masterclass is part of the Tigers’ ongoing commitment to developing football in the Great Southern region.
