The Omo Ajorosun Club has extended its heartfelt condolences to the people of Ibadan North Constituency and Oyo State over the sudden demise of Honourable Olaide Akinremi, a member of the club and a member of the House of Representatives until his death.
In a statement signed by the club’s Chairman, Chief Sunday Gbenjo Oyekanmi and made available by the PRO, ESV Toyeshe Lawal, the Omo Ajorosun Club described the demise of Hon. Akinremi as a huge loss to the state and the nation at large.
“We are deeply saddened by the news of Hon. Akinremi’s demise. He was a dedicated public servant who worked tirelessly for the betterment of his constituents and the state. His contributions to the development of Oyo State will never be forgotten.
“Hon. Akinremi was a shining example of selfless leadership and a champion of the people. His death has left a void that will be difficult to fill. We will miss his wisdom, his kindness and his unwavering commitment to the welfare of others.
“Hon. Akinremi was a shining star in the political landscape of Oyo State. His passion for education and healthcare was unwavering and his legacy will continue to inspire us.”
The club prayed for the repose of his soul and expressed its condolences to his family, friends and colleagues, saying: “May God grant his family the strength to bear this irreparable loss. May his soul rest in peace.”
