A woman is in critical condition after being shot four times Tuesday night near the campus of Temple University in North Philadelphia.

At approximately 9:54 p.m., police responded to a shooting in the 2100 block of Camac Street.

When police arrived, they found a 40-year-old woman with four gunshot wounds: one in the chest, two in her left side and one in her back, police said.

The victim, identified as a “Jane Doe,” was taken to the hospital where she was listed in critical condition, police said.
