Founded in 2013, the club has attracted nearly 50 volunteers from various backgrounds and ages. They are known for their support in hospitals, providing assistance to poor patients and individuals facing challenges. Additionally, they have extended their support to students in the highlands, distributed warm clothing, cared for orphans, and organized Mid-Autumn Festival gifts for children in shelters. Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hong My Le Dung, the club’s founder, shared their aspiration to assist the underprivileged and vulnerable, guide young children in overcoming obstacles, and ensure that underprivileged workers receive nutritious meals. All members embrace the belief that “happiness is multiplied when shared.” The club’s charitable activities extend beyond Da Nang to include disadvantaged mountainous areas in provinces such as Quang Nam, Kon Tum, Quang Ngai, Quang Tri, and Ha Tinh. To finance their efforts, the club relies on member contributions as well as public support. They appeal for donations to fund healthcare programs, support for patients and the underprivileged, shelter for children and elderly care facilities, financial assistance, food supply, essential items, heart surgeries, eye surgeries, construction of nursing homes, public playgrounds, transportation to school, and annual programs. Members of the club, as stated by Mrs. Nguyen Thi Minh Anh, are dedicated to their mission. They mobilize resources promptly to deliver love and kindness to those who need it. One of the club’s regular activities is distributing meals to urban environmental workers and poor individuals collecting recyclables on the 25th of each month. Over 100 persons benefit from each distribution. The club members expressed their joy in bringing human connection to their city after completing their distribution efforts in various districts late in the evening. Their efforts have resulted in a positive impact on the community, as noted by Mrs. Minh Anh and Ms. Nguyen Minh Xuan Thao. They emphasized the importance of conveying messages of love and sharing. The Hoa Uu Dam Volunteer Club continues to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need through their dedication and compassionate outreach.

Under the motto of “Connecting Hearts – Sharing Love”, the volunteer club ‘Hoa Uu Dam’ in Da Nang has set up numerous charity activities and meaningful humanitarian acts, bringing joy and happiness to poor families, patients, lonely elderly, underprivileged people and people who are struggling in the community.

Founded in 2013, the volunteer club ‘Hoa Uu Dam’ has attracted nearly 50 volunteers from different professions and age groups.

The Hoa Uu Dam Club is not only known for its charity activities in most of the hospitals in the city to support poor patients and people in difficult circumstances, but also for supporting essential supplies for students in the highlands, distributing warm clothes through the “Warm Winter with Kids” program, caring for orphans, organizing Mid-Autumn Festival gifts for children in shelters, providing gifts and supplies to people in the highlands through the “Warm Tet in Highlands” program, and organizing charity fairs.

As the founder of the club, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hong My Le Dung shares the desire to help the underprivileged and vulnerable in society, guide young children on their journey to overcome educational and life threats, and ensure that poor workers receive hearty meals. All members of the club contribute to the community with love and sharing, following the principle that “happiness is multiplied when shared”, thus contributing to social peace.

The club carries out charity activities not only in Da Nang, but also in difficult mountain areas of Quang Nam, Kon Tum, Quang Ngai, Quang Tri and Ha Tinh provinces.

In order to ensure the financing of charitable activities, together with contributions from its members, the club appeals to the public for support to help the sick, carry out support programs for patients and the underprivileged, provide shelter for children and elderly care facilities, financial assistance, food supply, essential items, support for heart surgeries, eye surgeries, construction of nursing homes, public playgrounds, provide transportation to school and organize annual programs such as “Warm Winter”, “Visiting the Lonely Elderly”.

As shared by Mrs. Nguyen Thi Minh Anh, a member of Hoa Uu Dam Club, the club members are very dedicated to their work. They typically mobilize resources and immediately set out to deliver love, conveying the sincere intentions of kind-hearted people and well-wishers to those who need it.

In recent years on 25e Every month, Hoa Uu Dam Club members usually deliver meals consisting of boxed bread and milk to urban environmental workers cleaning city streets or to poor workers collecting recyclable materials. Each distribution supports more than 100 people. Ms. Anh said they not only bring bread and milk, but also many messages such as “Share love to receive love.”

At the same time, on Hung Vuong Street, Mrs. Nguyen Minh Xuan Thao also delivered the last batch of gifts to a female urban environmental worker. Meanwhile, Mr. Tran Van Ngoc completed meaningful work by sincerely sending gifts to an elderly lottery seller on the corner of Le Duan Street.

After three hours of wandering through different streets in Son Tra, Ngu Hanh Son, Hai Chau and Thanh Khe districts to distribute all the meals to the beneficiaries, the club members said goodbye to each other around 10:00 pm. Everyone’s faces showed joy to bring warm human exchange to a city worth living in.
