Order food tonight and help the family of the fallen deputy

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A local eatery is donating all proceeds from the meal until 11 p.m. Saturday to the family of the Hillsdale police officer who died in the line of duty Thursday.

Here’s to You Pub & Grub in Hillsdale made the announcement in a social media post. “We had the honor of catering Billy and Sarah’s wedding, and 10th anniversary…we feel like this is the least we can do since Billy was such an amazing example of a human being,” they said in their post.

Deputy Bill Butler died of gunshot wounds after a suspect shot him during a traffic stop. He was a 51-year-old husband and father of three.
