At approximately 2:30 p.m., the SUV, driven by a 69-year-old woman, failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection of County Highway S and County Highway G. It collided with the minivan, causing extensive damage. The SUV driver was airlifted to a hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Three adults and five children, ranging in age from 2 to 13, who were occupants of the minivan, were transported to hospital with varying injuries. Their condition is expected to be stable. TMJ4 News reports that the crash is currently under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.
TOWN OF BEVERDAM, Wisc. — One person was killed and eight others, including young children, were sent to the hospital after a crash in Dodge County.
A minivan collided with an SUV along County Highway S and County Highway G in the town of Beaver Dam shortly before 2:30 p.m.
According to the sheriff’s office, the SUV failed to stop at a stop sign.
A 69-year-old woman driving the SUV was flown to the hospital, where she died from her injuries.
Three other adults and five children, ranging in age from 2 to 13, were all rushed to hospital and are all expected to be OK.
