It begins with a stroller walk, followed by visits to various activity stations for children aged 7 and under. Special character guest appearances and story time led by Literally A Bookshop add to the excitement. Families can also enjoy crafts, prize wheels, and freebies. Mall partners participate by offering additional freebies, and attendees can take advantage of a special offer for a free ride on the two-story carousel with a $5 purchase at the food court. MESA, AZ — If you’re looking for some free indoor fun to beat the heat, stop by Superstition Springs Center in Mesa for the Summer Playdate Series.
The event is held every second Thursday of the month and runs until September 12, 2024.
It’s part of a partnership with the online social group East Valley Moms.
“Everything we do here at East Valley Moms is really about creating that connected, joyful parenting experience here in the East Valley,” says founder Amy McConnell.
The Playdate runs from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM in Toddler Town, near the Kids Play Area in the shopping center.

The fun starts with a stroller walk, after which families can visit the various activity stations for children aged 7 and under. They also have special character guest appearances and story time led by Literally A Bookshop.
There are also crafts, prize wheels and many more fun freebies for families!
“Many of the mall partners here have also been giving out freebies. So kids are also going into the stores to get their freebies,” McConnell said.
But the fun doesn’t end at the play date! The mall also has a special offer for a free ride on the two-story carousel.
“Every Thursday here at the Superstition Springs Mall you get a free ride on the carousel if you eat at the food court for $5,” McConnell explains.
