Sisters, Top of the Class at University Park Campus School, Off to Harvard
Two sisters from University Park Campus School have made their mark as top students, earning spots at one of the most prestigious universities in the world: Harvard.
Sarah and Emily Ahmed
have excelled academically throughout their high school careers, consistently earning straight A’s. They have been active in extracurricular activities, including serving as class officers, participating in the National Honor Society, and playing varsity sports. Sarah, the older sister, is a passionate advocate for social justice. She has volunteered countless hours at local homeless shelters and has raised funds for various charities. She is also an accomplished pianist and has performed at prestigious recitals. Emily, the younger sister, has a keen interest in science and technology. She is a member of the STEM Club and has participated in several science fairs, where she has won awards for her innovative projects. She also enjoys writing and has been published in the school’s literary magazine. Both Sarah and Emily have been recognized for their academic achievements. They were named National Merit Scholars and received full scholarships to Harvard University. They will begin their studies in the fall, majoring in political science and engineering, respectively. University Park, PA – Two sisters from University Park Campus School have been accepted to Harvard University, one of the most prestigious universities in the world. The sisters, Sarah and Emily Smith, are both valedictorians of their class and have excelled academically throughout their high school careers. Sarah, the older sister, is a National Merit Scholar and has been involved in numerous extracurricular activities, including the debate team, student government, and the math club. Emily, the younger sister, is also a National Merit Scholar and has been active in the science club, the robotics team, and the Spanish Honor Society. Both sisters said they were thrilled to be accepted to Harvard and are looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. “I’m so excited to be going to Harvard,” said Sarah. “It’s my dream school, and I can’t wait to learn from the best professors and be surrounded by such brilliant students.” “I’m really looking forward to the research opportunities at Harvard,” added Emily. “I’m particularly interested in studying astrophysics, and I know that Harvard has one of the best astrophysics programs in the country.” The sisters’ parents, John and Mary Smith, said they are proud of their daughters’ accomplishments. “They’ve worked so hard, and they deserve all the success they’ve achieved,” said John Smith. “We’re so happy for them and can’t wait to see what the future holds for them.” The Smith sisters are the latest in a long line of University Park Campus School graduates who have gone on to attend Ivy League universities.
