General Hospital alum Haley Pullos has been released from prison after serving 90 days for her involvement in a 2023 drunk driving accident.

Pullos, 26, appeared in court Monday, July 29, wearing an orange jumpsuit to receive her sentence. A judge ruled that the former soap star will be released and given five years’ probation after serving her three months behind bars.

“Haley was sentenced to probation with 90 days in jail, including time already served,” Pullos’ attorney said. Dan Melnicktold People on Monday, noting that Pullos must also complete a nine-month DUI program and a Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) program, as well as continue to receive “private counseling.”

Soap opera actress Haley Pullos has officially been sentenced to prison for a drunk driving accident in 2023.

Pullos, 25, was sentenced to 90 days in jail after pleading guilty to charges stemming from an April 2023 collision on a California freeway that left her injured and damaged her car on Monday, April 29.

“Haley is very grateful to the court for a minimum sentence and for recognizing her remorse and the steps she has taken in her sobriety,” Pullos’ attorney said. Mark Daniel Melnickshared in a statement to We weekly.

In addition to serving a prison sentence, the former General Hospital star reportedly ordered to perform 200 hours of community service, serve five years of probation and pay more than $8,000 in restitution to crash victim, Courteney WilderShe will appear in court again on July 29.

Actress Nancy Lee Grahn responded to the news of her former co-star’s conviction via X on Monday, writing: “As Haley’s TV mom, I can tell some truth about her because I have loved her since she was a little girl. She made a BIG mistake, knows it, admits it, and has done EVERYTHING you can think of over the past year to take responsibility for it.”

She continued: “It’s not that I’m against prison. It’s that I’m against this prison.” (Grahn, 68, portrayed Alexis Davis in General Hospital since 1996.)

Pullos was involved in a car crash in April 2023 after she was driving the wrong way on a Pasadena freeway and collided head-on with another vehicle. Pullos, who was found to be in possession of marijuana and alcohol at the time of the crash, was reportedly involved in another hit-and-run crash prior to the incident, TMZ reported.

Wilder was hospitalized with serious injuries as a result of the crash and filed a lawsuit against Pullos in June 2023. In the suit, Wilder alleged that the crash also caused severe damage to his car, which was a total loss as of the scene of the accident, TMZ reported.

That same month, Us confirmed that Pullos had been charged with two felonies, one count of causing injury while driving under the influence, and one count of causing continued driving after a collision resulting in property damage. She pleaded not guilty to all three charges at the time, and a preliminary hearing was scheduled for next month.

After Wilder sued for damages for the crash, Pullos reportedly filed a motion in March to dismiss the lawsuit against her. According to multiple media outlets, Pullos blamed Wilder for the incident and denied Wilder’s claims that she was at fault.

In the months following the April 2023 crash, Pullos reportedly spent time in a rehabilitation center, and her General Hospital character recast. “Unfortunately, I was involved in a car accident and I’m doing well, but I need some time to recover,” she said in a May 2023 statement to Soap Opera Summary“I’ll be back as soon as possible!”
