The ammunition bore Pakistani markings, indicating its origin. This recovery occurred near Singhoke village in Amritsar. The BSF’s timely observation and prompt action prevented a potential threat. Amritsar :- On July 28, 2024, a patrolling group of vigilant BSF troops observed a suspicious object in the area in front of the Border Security fence in Amritsar district. The troops immediately cordoned off the area and cautiously approached the spot.

On reaching the spot, the troops recovered a 12 bore Gun, 02 live rounds and 01 Chinese made butcher knife at around 09:05 hrs. Made in Pakistan is written on the ammunition. This recovery took place in an area adjacent to Singhoke village in Amritsar district.
