The Tobacco Industry & Marketing Board (TIMB) is a Zimbabwean regulatory and advisory statutory board that, among other things, monitors and regulates the cultivation, marketing and export of tobacco in Zimbabwe. In 1936, the Tobacco Marketing Board was established through the Tobacco Marketing and Levy Act, which resulted in the sale of tobacco through Auction Floors and later Contract Floors (as of 2004). The Tobacco Marketing and Levy (Amendment) Act of 1997 saw the Tobacco Marketing Board renamed to the Tobacco Industry and Marketing Board. The board represents the interests of all types of tobacco growers, buyers and other stakeholders.
