RANCHI – IHCL has unveiled its comprehensive plans to open a luxury Taj hotel in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand state, marking the company’s first foray into the fast-growing capital of Jharkhand.
A six-hectare piece of land acquired from the Government of Jharkhand is being used for the development of the project.
Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director, IHCL, on the other hand, was enthusiastic about his company’s strategic expansion and increasing presence in different parts of the country.
He particularly emphasised Ranchi’s potential as a development centre for trade, industry and culture and said the state capital is likely to attract increasing interest from investors.
According to the plans, the new hotel will be located in Dhurwa, an area that is easily accessible and visible.
There will be 200 tastefully decorated rooms with modern conveniences for visitors.
The location has large party rooms for all kinds of gatherings.
The hotel in Ranchi has a wide choice of dining options planned to suit different gastronomic tastes.
