Revealed during EVO 2024, Heihachi will be the next DLC character, joining the roster in Fall 2024. This DLC follows the additions of fan favorite characters Eddy Gordo and Lidia Sobieska. For the first time in series history, SIGN 8 will include a free story expansion. This new chapter, “The Dark Awakens”, expands the ongoing saga of the Kazama and Mishima families and will be available as a free update for all players.
The announcement also included the location for the TO DRAW World Tour 2024 Finals. The Finals will take place in Tokyo, Japan, on December 8, 2024, with the group stages beginning on December 5. This follows the dramatic conclusion of EVO 2024, where Arslan Ash claimed his fifth EVO Championship.
