Thomas Carstens, 36, caused a disturbance on August 8 by refusing to leave the JW Marriot Nashville.e Avenue South on late July 20. Upon arrival, officers located Carstens and noticed he had a bloody nose, dilated pupils, and was unable to sit still. Carstens subsequently admitted to ingesting cocaine and alcohol throughout the day. When officers asked if he had ingested it all, he responded, “No,” and pulled out a little over a gram of cocaine from his pocket. Carstens was subsequently arrested for simple possession.

Thomas Carstens was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on July 20, charged with simple possession. A court commissioner set his bond at $2,500.
