Spoilers have also revealed that next week, on Friday (July 26), an entire episode of Corrie will be dedicated to Paul Foreman and Billy Mayhew. First, Billy calls the family together for a meeting at No.5 where Paul plays them a pre-recorded message.

In it, he says he is dying, that he can’t fight anymore, and that he needs his mother, Bernie Winter, now more than ever. In the episode dedicated to Paul’s story, he wakes up to find that his speech has drastically deteriorated, but he is determined to enjoy his last day of freedom outside the apartment after being told he can no longer use the stair lift.
