How much car can you buy for $80,000? In the new market, that’s what you’d get a decent Porsche Boxster or C8 CorvetteThose are some pretty impressive cars, that’s for sure, but neither has the presence or the off-putting character of this StanceWorks-built Ford Model A hotrod. That’s right, you can buy this monstrous “truck” for $80,000 cash. It is incomprehensibly powered by a supercharged Ford Aluminator engine Pushing 757 hp to the tires, it uses a Mazda prototype race car center lock wheels and sounds like a hellhound. There isn’t much original Model A left in this machine, but it’s all the cooler for it.

In preparation for an upcoming mega-build that will likely outshine even his wide-body Honda K-Series-powered Ferrari, Mike Burroughs is selling his beloved hot rod to make some space and free up some budget. For eighty grand you can take it home, and you’d be getting a steal if you did.

All good things must come to an end: my 757WHP Ford Hot Rod is for sale.

In this week’s StanceWorks videoBurroughs announced that the truck was officially for sale, saying, “All good things must come to an end.” Ain’t that the damn truth?

This truck has been through a lot. Mike has crashed it on the street, blown the engine, and completely rebuilt a bunch of stuff he built years ago. It’s been a bit of an evolving project over the last decade, but now he calls it done, like an artist putting down his paintbrush and stepping away from his canvas. The truck as it stands now is an impressive piece of machinery and there’s no way you could build one from scratch for the asking price.

I’m not the buyer for this thing, but damn, I wish I could be. Maybe you are. Give him a call and give him the money, you probably won’t regret it. At least until you turn it on and your eardrums blow out.
