Amitabh Bachchan, who regularly interacts with his fans on social media, recently took to X to share a message about work being the only motivation in life. Amitabh posted a picture from the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati and his fans called him an inspiration for working tirelessly at the age of 81. This post comes soon after Abhishek Bachchan’s ‘like’ on a post about divorce went viral on Instagram.

Amitabh Bachchan wrote: “T 5075 – work work work… the only incentive to life and existence…” The photo shows a black-and-white Amitabh Bachchan rehearsing for the show, while the game show’s prominent blue logo is blurred. Check out the post here:

Amitabh Bachchan’s fans flocked to the comment section to praise his work ethic. One wrote, “And salute to you in this time of working.” Another added, “Love you @SrBachchan Sirji ❤.” Another added, “I am working hard at this age sir.” Several fans also called the veteran actor an “inspiration.”

Amitabh’s post comes soon after Abhishek Bachchan made headlines for liking a post about divorce. The post, shared by author Heena Khandelwal, featured an image with the words, “When love is no longer easy. Couples who were married are now breaking up. What prompted their decision and why are grey divorces on the rise?” The image was shared with the caption about the article on the rising divorce cases.

“Divorce is never easy for anyone. Who doesn’t dream of a happy ending or imagine that we can recreate those heartwarming videos of elderly couples holding hands while crossing the street? Yet sometimes life doesn’t turn out the way we’d hoped. But how do people cope with divorce after decades together, after relying on each other for both big and small things for so much of their lives? What drives them to cut ties and what challenges do they face? This story explores these questions. Coincidentally, ‘grey divorces’ or ‘silver splitters’ – terms for people who want to dissolve their marriages, usually after the age of 50 – are on the rise worldwide. The reasons, while varied, are not surprising,” the post reads.

Abhishek was among the many people who ‘liked’ the post. The move had raised eyebrows as Aishwarya Rai had recently posed alone on the red carpet at Ambani’s wedding, while Abhishek was seen standing with his family. A screenshot of Abhishek’s ‘like’ was shared on Reddit and several people took to the comments section to share their views. While many speculated that it would go down badly, a few also defended Abhishek, saying that it could be a general ‘like’ and nothing personal.
