Lindsay Hubbard thinks summer should be fun, even when she’s pregnant.
The reality star, 37, defended her decision to return for season 9 of Bravo’s Summer house after recently sharing a glimpse of her baby bump via Instagram. “The bump was bumpin.. cub was CUBBIN!
,” she captioned the adorable mirror selfie, which shows her with one hand on her bare stomach while wearing a two-piece.
The location was tagged as The Hamptons, where Lindsay and her Summer house cast members spend their weekends filming. (The series took over production earlier this month.)
While many fans raved about Lindsay’s pregnancy glow, some followers were more critical. “With all due respect I don’t know why you would go back to a party room? You live in a different era sis,” one Instagram user wrote in the comments.
It didn’t take long for Lindsay to snap back. “Can’t you party when you’re pregnant?” she replied.
The comment was met with praise from loyal Bravo fans. “Since when does getting pregnant mean life ends? Plus this is her job. She knows when the environment is too much,” one user added, while another pointed out that “you don’t have to drink to have fun” in any situation.
A third defender wondered, “What year is this?!?” and noted that Lindsay should embrace the fun times with her girlfriends while she still “feels great and energetic during her pregnancy.”

Lindsay did not reveal the identity of her baby’s father at the time, writing only, “My boyfriend and I are so excited to welcome our little #HubbCub this holiday season of 2024!!

Lindsay’s pregnancy news comes less than a year after she split from her fiancé Carl Radkewhich took place during season 8 of the Bravo series. The couple were set to tie the knot in November 2023, but Carl, 39, called off the wedding three months earlier.

While reflecting on the split, Lindsay exclusively revealed to We weekly last fall that she was “completely surprised.” She praised her “wonderful group of friends” who helped her through the difficult time.

Despite her heartbreak, Lindsay revealed at the time that she felt “really good about moving on” with Carl. She hinted at her new romance during season 8 Summer house reunion in June, host says Andy Cohen that she and her boyfriend, whom she did not name at the time, started a relationship in January.
After revealing her pregnancy, Lindsay explained in an interview with People that getting pregnant was “a surprise and shock” for both her and her partner. (Although she initially tried to keep her boyfriend out of the spotlight, it was later reported that Lindsay is in a relationship Turner Kufe(a doctor who works in biotech investments.)
“We have a very loving, caring, healthy relationship. I finally feel like I’ve met my match with him,” she enthused. “He’s just so excited to be a dad and proud to have a child with me.”
