The Multiple matches ticket, which matched the six winning numbers (3, 14, 29, 30, 32 and 35) was sold at the Sheetz store at 2045 Bedford Road in Cumberland. The winner can choose between an estimated annuity of $560,000, paid in 25 annual installments, or an estimated cash option of $310,000. Prizes exclude taxes. The Allegany County retailer receives a $1,000 bonus for selling the lucky ticket.
The winner of $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold at the Pilot Travel Center at 11633 Greencastle Pike in Hagerstown. It is the 35th Powerball this year in Maryland sold a ticket to win the third prize of $50,000.
