According to Sibu police chief ACP Stanley Jonathan Ringgit, the boy was riding the motorcycle without a license. He said the boy had been warned by the public to stop riding the motorcycle, but he refused. “The boy was eventually stopped by the public and he was beaten up,” Stanley said. The boy was taken to the Sibu Hospital for treatment. Stanley said the police are investigating the incident. “We are trying to identify the people involved in the beating,” he said.
