A Barrie man who was reportedly under the influence was caught speeding 120 miles per hour early this morning by provincial police on Highway 400 in Vaughan.
According to Aurora OPP, police pulled over the 47-year-old driver at 12:50 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16, as he was traveling northbound near the Teston Road interchange.
According to police, the man was under the influence of alcohol and was arrested.
The man, whose name has not been released by the OPP, has been charged with stunt driving and driving under the influence. He was given an automatic 90-day license suspension and his vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
