The Ossan Newbie Adventurer tells the story of Rick Gladiator, a 32-year-old adventurer who joins the world’s most powerful adventuring company, the Orichalcum Fist.
He may have started his career late, but after two years of intensive training he had managed to strengthen his body.
Rick has Reanette Elfelt by his side on his journey. She looks like an ordinary girl, but she is an S-rank adventurer who witnessed Rick’s powers after he protected her from a dragon.
Reanette trained Rick for two years along with the other members of Orichalcum Fist. She continues to spend time with him even after he becomes a full-fledged adventurer, and it doesn’t bother her when they pretend to date.
And then there’s Angelica Diarmuit, who initially hated Rick. She even challenged Rick to a duel to force him to become her eternal slave, but she ultimately lost.
As the story unfolds, Angelica becomes more and more involved with Rick and the Orichalcum Fist, going on missions together, which further develops their relationship.

At the time of writing, Rick Gladiator has not yet found anyone in The Ossan Newbie Adventurerand that’s why fans are speculating that Angelica and Reanette will become Rick’s final characters in the series.
Most fans believe that Rick might end up with Reanette because of the challenges they have overcome together.
They even have a solid foundation because they always have each other’s backs, no questions asked. They even pretend to date each other as if it’s normal to consider each other as romantic partners.
There is clearly romantic tension and it seems like the series wants to eventually bring the two characters into an intimate relationship.
On the other hand, some fans think that Rick might end up with Angelica, since they also have chemistry.
They complement each other, because not only do they look good together, but they also share a lot of fun and silly moments, which romance fans love.
