The FBI has said the shots were fired by a 20-year-old man from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, which is about an hour’s drive from the rally. Trump had been on stage for just over six minutes, speaking about illegal immigration, when the first sound of gunfire was heard. Two bursts of gunfire were heard. First three shots, then five shots. Three seconds after the first shot was fired, Secret Service agents surrounded him and tried to chase him off the stage. They were followed by other law enforcement officers who were more heavily armed. Trump briefly told them to stop until he could get his shoes. Let me get my shoes. Let me get my shoes. Sir, I got you, sir. Let me get my shoes on. As he stood up, blood was visible on his right ear. He pauses again before being escorted off the stage and raises his fist in the air, as if saying the word fight. The former president was standing on stage at this location.
