We knew nothing good would come of it General HospitalDrew (Cameron Mathison) kisses Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Although he dismissed it as a random event that meant nothing, she feels guilty, and understandably so. She’s married to Michael (Chad Duell), and Michael not only trusts her as his wife, but he also trusts Drew, since Drew is his uncle and business partner. Willow is usually one to act truthfully and honestly, and keeping this secret is a burden she’s not used to carrying.
Perhaps that’s why she feels the need to share what happened with someone and get their perspective. Since Carly (Laura Wright) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) are blood relatives of Michael, Willow will exclude them from her usual support system with this issue. The week of July 15, she actually turns to Nina (Cynthia Watros) for advice.

Of course, viewers know this is a big deal, as Willow and Nina have often been like oil and water over the years. Even though they are biologically mother and daughter, their relationship has had its ups and downs due to all the lies, manipulation, and harsh words between them. In the present, however, they may be on better terms than ever, making Willow feel comfortable enough to turn to her mother.
Based on the following clip, it looks like Nina will be shocked to hear the news about Drew’s kiss when a tearful Willow reveals the story. Additionally, the video shows Nina confronting Drew and punching him for his actions. Watch below.

If that slap was any indication, Nina is going to go into full-on mama bear mode and do what she has to do to protect her daughter. Not only that, since she and Drew are also having sex, she’s probably going to be outraged that he’s even trying to protect her daughter. Nina and Drew may not be in a relationship, but social norms generally dictate that if he’s had a romantic relationship with the mother, it’s a major transgression, a faux pas, to go after the daughter.
We can imagine Drew trying to brush the kiss off as something that wasn’t that bad and happened accidentally in a brief moment. However, Nina probably won’t let him rationalize his actions. Is it possible that Nina, already offended by his audacity in kissing her daughter, will find his nonchalance even worse, causing her to take action?

As fans of the show know, Nina has a tendency to let her anger cloud her judgment, which leads her to make some unwise choices in her revenge schemes. We can imagine a scenario where Nina attacks Drew by actively taking steps to thwart his political ambitions. With him running for Congress, the slightest scandal or impropriety could cost him the election. Since Nina is in the publishing business, it’s not exactly difficult to criticize Drew in the press. However, if she does go that route, it could cost her Crimson red… again.
