Surprisingly, one in ten respondents expressed their belief in the existence of a secret alien base hidden by the government. Belfast emerged as the hotbed of alien conspiracy theories, with a staggering 21% of its residents believing in a clandestine alien presence. Generation Z, comprising individuals aged 18 to 26, topped the list of alien believers, with 15% affirming their conviction. Millennials (aged 27 to 42) and baby boomers (aged 59 and above) also shared this belief, with 10% and 7%, respectively, expressing their support. Rosie Maskell, a marketing executive for the bingo site MrQ, which conducted the survey, commented on the findings: “It’s remarkable to delve into the world of conspiracy theories. The belief in a secret alien colony held by a large number of people is fascinating. The only certainty we have is that the truth remains elusive.” Following Belfast, Liverpool emerged as the second most likely city for alien belief, with 14% of its residents suspecting a British colony. Cardiff, Sheffield, Birmingham, and Manchester trailed close behind. Beyond alien theories, respondents also harbored doubts about other historical events. Notably, 12% questioned the authenticity of the Apollo moon landings, while 13% suspected British authorities’ involvement in Princess Diana’s death.

A recent survey in the UK has provided some interesting insights into public attitudes towards aliens. Surprisingly, one in ten people in the country believe in the existence of a secret alien base being covered up by the British government.

According to the survey, believers speculate that these aliens not only exist, but also go out in disguise to shop and even visit liquor stores. People in Belfast have become the biggest alien conspiracy theorists, with 21 percent of them believing that someone is lurking.

Generation Z (those aged 18 to 26) are the most religious, with 15 percent of them believing that someone exists. Another 10 percent of millennials, aged 27 to 42, said the same. Another 7 percent of baby boomers, aged 59 and over, said they also believed that there was a secret alien colony in the UK.

Bingo site MrQ asked 2,000 British adults what conspiracy theories they believed in to reveal the results. Senior marketing manager Rosie Maskell commented on the findings, saying: “It’s certainly an eye-opener to delve into the world of conspiracy theories, with a large number of people believing in a secret alien colony. The only thing we can say for sure is that the truth is out there.”

After Belfast, people in Liverpool are the second most likely to believe in a secret British colony. The survey found that 14 percent of people think it is true, followed by 12 percent from Cardiff, 13 percent from Sheffield and Birmingham, and 11 percent from Manchester and Southampton.
