Cobb himself confirmed that everyone in the family is safe, including their dog, Louie. “We don’t know how much more can be saved, if anything,” Cobb said. “But this is a reminder that nothing is more important than the health of our family.” The extent of the damage to the house is still being assessed. Cobb, a free agent after playing with the New York Jets in 2023, has a lengthy NFL career, having previously spent time with the Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys, and Houston Texans. Cobb’s wife, Aiyda, wrote on Instagram that they were “lucky to be alive” after a Tesla charger in their garage caught fire and “spread quickly,” but they were able to get out with “only the clothes we had on and no shoes on our feet.”

“First and foremost, we are all safe and healthy,” Cobb said in an Instagram post. “We left the house and I was able to go back in and get our dog Louie.” Cobb added: “We don’t know how much more can be saved, if anything, but this is a reminder that nothing is more important than the health of our family.”

The extent of the damage to the house is unclear.

Randall and Aiyda married in 2017. They have three children.

Cobb is a free agent after spending the 2023 season with the New York Jets. He played in 11 games and caught five passes for 39 yards.

The 33-year-old was selected in the second round of the 2011 draft by the Green Bay Packers. He played 10 seasons, divided between two stints with the Packers, and also played one year each with the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans.
