Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the single-vehicle accident. Upon arriving at the scene, Pelham Police officers discovered a damaged 2024 Hyundai Kona in the treeline. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, Robin Benoit, was evaluated by the Pelham Fire Department but declined treatment. An investigation revealed that Benoit had been traveling north on Marsh Road when she crossed the double yellow centerline into the opposite lane. The vehicle side-swiped a tree before coming to a rest deep in the woods. Benoit was arrested and charged with driving under the influence (DUI). PELHAM, NH — A 62-year-old Pelham woman was allegedly intoxicated when she veered off Marsh Road and crashed into the woods late Thursday night.

According to Pelham Police, no one was injured in the single-vehicle crash that resulted in Robin Benoit being charged with driving under the influence.

Police were dispatched to the area of ​​161 Marsh Road for reports of an accident shortly after 11:30 pm. Responding officers found a wrecked 2024 Hyundai Kona within the treeline. The Pelham Fire Department evaluated Benoit — the driver and vehicle’s lone occupant — who reported no injuries.

Police said an investigation revealed Benoit was traveling north on Marsh Road when she crossed the double yellow centerline into the opposite lane of travel. The vehicle side-swiped a tree before coming to a rest in the woods.

Benoit is set to be arraigned in Salem District Court at 8 am July 22.
