Authorities also discovered that the same unlicensed doctor operated a general hospital in Moraiya, Changodar, which was subsequently sealed. The hospital manager remains at large. A complaint has been filed against the three suspects at the Kerala GIDC police station in Ahmedabad rural. The medical officer of the primary health care centre in Bavla confirmed the raid and the flight of the individuals working as doctors. Hospital administrator Amrelia fled prior to the raid, while officials confiscated documents from the hospital’s Deputy Commissioner of Business Tax and TDO.

The Gujarat Health Department has sealed the Ananya Multispecialty Hospital in Bavla after a minor died allegedly due to negligence during treatment. The department raided the hospital after a video of the hospital being run by a fake doctor was widely circulated on social media. It was found that three people running the hospital did not have a medical degree, certificate, license or registration with the Gujarat Medical Council.

Officials said it was also discovered that the same fake doctor had a general hospital at Moraiya in Changodar, which was also sealed. The manager of the hospital is on the run.

In this connection, a complaint has been filed against three suspects – Manisha Amrelia, Mehul Chavda and Dharmendra – at the Kerala GIDC police station in Ahmedabad rural.

The medical officer of the primary health care centre in Shial village in Bavla, Rituraj Chavda, confirmed that a raid was conducted at the hospital on the Nal Sarovar road from Kerala village in Bavla and the three suspects who were working as doctors there have fled.

The hospital administrator, Amrelia, left the hospital before the raid. Officials seized certificates of the Deputy Commissioner of Business Tax and TDO from the hospital.
