Camp Hard Hat Wraps Up in AtticaCamp Hard Hat Wraps Up in Attica Attica, IN – The final day of Camp Hard Hat was held at the Attica Public Library on Saturday, July 30th. The camp, which was open to children ages 7-12, taught participants about construction and safety. Over the course of the week-long camp, participants learned about different types of construction equipment, how to build a house, and how to stay safe on a construction site. They also had the opportunity to meet with local construction workers and tour a construction site. “The kids had a great time at Camp Hard Hat,” said camp organizer Jenny Johnson. “They learned a lot about construction and safety, and they had a lot of fun doing it.” The camp was funded by a grant from the Attica Community Foundation. The library plans to offer the camp again next summer.
