Kylian Mbappe and his family are reportedly in ‘advanced talks’ over a potential takeover of the club he nearly joined in 2013.
The 25-year-old attacker is expected to be presented as a Real Madrid player on Tuesday, July 16, after his dream transfer to Real Madrid was confirmed. The Blancos last month.

According to French media Ouest-France, Mbappé and his family are negotiating off the pitch about an investment in Ligue 2 club Stade Malherbe Caen.
Caen are looking for new investors after American asset manager Oaktree Capital Management announced it would withdraw from ownership of the club.
Mbappé’s family business, which is largely run by his mother, Fayza Lamari, is interested in acquiring a majority stake in Caen, GFFN reported.
In 2013, Mbappé was on the verge of moving to Caen, but the deal fell through when the club were relegated from Ligue 1, after which he moved to AS Monaco.
Real Madrid set to sideline Mbappe
On July 16, Mbappé will be officially presented to Real Madrid fans, in line with the club’s usual tradition for major signings.
