Following the deadly crash, Brenham residents have been able to access DL services by visiting nearby DPS offices, the press release states. “DPS Driver License Division personnel and the entire Brenham community have shown tremendous strength and resilience in the wake of the DPS Brenham Station tragedy just a few short months ago,” DPS Director Steven McCraw said in the press release. According to DPS, Texans can now receive full-service, in-person DL services by appointment, including DPS DL and identification card services. The temporary Brenham DL office location is the Blinn College Student Center, located at 1007 Walter Schwartz Way in Brenham. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. DPS says the office will be closed from 12 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. for lunch.

Na het dodelijke ongeluk op 12 april bij het DPS-station in Brenham konden burgers gebruikmaken van DL-diensten door nabijgelegen DPS-kantoren te bezoeken, zo staat in het persbericht.
“Leden van de afdeling Rijbewijzen van DPS en de hele gemeenschap van Brenham hebben grote kracht en veerkracht getoond na de tragedie van DPS Brenham Station slechts een paar maanden geleden”, aldus DPS-directeur Steven McCraw in het persbericht.

Volgens DPS kunnen inwoners van Texas nu op afspraak volledige, persoonlijke DL-diensten ontvangen, waaronder DPS DL- en identificatiekaartdiensten.
De tijdelijke locatie van het Brenham DL-kantoor is het Blinn College Student Center, gevestigd op 1007 Walter Schwartz Way in Brenham. De openingstijden zijn van maandag tot en met vrijdag van 8.00 tot 17.00 uur. DPS zei dat het kantoor tussen 12.00 en 13.15 uur gesloten is voor de lunch.
