Mariotti shipyard in San Giorgio di Nogaro, Italy, Aman at Sea celebrated the commencement of construction for its first vessel. This venture is a partnership with Cruise Saudi. The yacht will boast 50 opulent suites, complemented by an array of luxurious amenities, including: * A casual dining restaurant for all-day dining * Sophisticated international dining options * A rejuvenating spa * A tranquil Japanese garden * Two helipads for convenient access * A Beach Club with direct water access at the stern of the ship Powered by marine diesel and methanol, the Aman at Sea ship is scheduled to set sail in 2027. Four Seasons Yachts In Ancona, Italy, Four Seasons Yachts held a keel-laying ceremony at the Fincantieri shipyard in partnership with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings. The company’s debut ship, Four Seasons I, is designed to offer an unparalleled level of luxury with 95 elegant suites. The ship’s standout feature is the sprawling Funnel Suite, which spans four stories and boasts floor-to-ceiling, wraparound curved glass windows. This expanse of glass is said to be the largest continuous piece at sea. Four Seasons I is expected to commence its maiden voyage in the Caribbean in January 2026, followed by the Mediterranean in the summer of that year.

Two luxury hotel brands looking to enter the cruise market held keel-laying ceremonies this week, officially starting construction of their first ships.

Aman at Sea held its ceremony on Thursday at the T. Mariotti shipyard in San Giorgio di Nogaro, Italy. The project is a joint venture with Cruise Saudi.

In addition to 50 suites, the yacht features a casual all-day dining restaurant, international dining options, a spa, a Japanese garden, two helipads and a Beach Club with direct water access at the aft of the ship.

The ship, which has not yet been named, will be equipped to run on marine diesel and methanol. Aman at Sea expects to begin sailing in 2027.

Four Seasons Yachts, in partnership with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, held its keel laying ceremony on Tuesday at shipbuilder Fincantieri in Ancona, Italy.

The design of the 95-suite Four Seasons I ship includes a four-story Funnel Suite with floor-to-ceiling, wraparound curved glass windows, the largest continuous piece of glass at sea, according to the shipbuilder.

The ship is expected to begin sailing in the Caribbean in January 2026, followed by the Mediterranean in the summer.
