Natalie Portman’s Love of Floral DressesNatalie Portman’s Love of Floral Dresses Natalie Portman has been embracing floral fashion all year long, attending various events in a series of blooming looks. At a recent preview screening for her new series “Lady in the Lake,” she opted for a pink Oscar de la Renta creation, featuring a guipure lace silhouette adorned with cut and embroidered peonies. The mini dress was accessorized with metallic sandals and diamond earrings. Portman’s floral obsession extends beyond this latest appearance. In May, she attended the “Miss Dior” exhibition in Tokyo wearing a shimmering flapper dress with delicate floral embroidery. For the Independent Spirit Awards in February, she made a statement in a red leather cropped coat and miniskirt by Balmain, both embellished with 3D rosettes. The actress has also showcased her love for couture florals. At the Golden Globes, she wore an embroidered Christian Dior dress with multiple floral cutouts. Her affinity for floral designs demonstrates her feminine and elegant style, making her a true fashion icon.

The garden blooms all year round with Natalie Portman. Last night, the Black Swan actress appeared at a preview screening and interview for her new series Lady in the lake hosted at The Paley Center for Media. For the event, Portman and stylist Ryan Hastings chose a pink dress.

The Oscar de la Renta design is from the brand’s Fall 2024 collection. It features peonies cut and embroidered to create a guipure lace that forms the sheath silhouette with occasional cutouts. The mini dress also features two velvet shoulder straps. She paired it with metallic sandals and simple diamond earrings.

Co-star Moses Ingram joined her on the floral train, in a teal ankle-length dress with a rich floral print. The look was from Carolina Herrera’s Fall 2024 collection by Wes Gordon.

But it’s really just the latest floral look for Portman, who’s been sticking with flowers all year long. There was the shimmering flapper dress at the “Miss Dior” exhibition in Tokyo last month: It featured delicate floral embroidery. She sexyized the trend in a much grander way in February, wearing a red leather cropped coat and miniskirt by Balmain, both with 3D rosettes, a look she served up for the Independent Spirit Awards. And of course, there was the couture: For the Golden Globes, she wore an embroidered dress with multiple floral cutouts from Christian Dior’s haute couture collection.
