SALEM — The 59th annual Kiwanis Antiques and Crafts Fair is scheduled for July 20.

The show will be held in Centennial Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine, and will feature more than 80 vendors. The event will also feature a basket raffle and games and temporary tattoos for kids, with food available for purchase at the “What is Grandpa smoking?” food truck and Tailgate Catering, and dessert by First Christian Church. Visitors can also enjoy live music by the Sassabrass band from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., and Chase Reiter from 10:45 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 to 1 p.m.

Parking for this year’s event will be in the Park Avenue parking lot, and there will be signs and students to direct attendees to the right spot. Admission to the event is free, and raffle tickets can be purchased for $1 each, six for $5, 15 for $10, or 35 for $20. The drawing will be at 1 p.m., and the winner does not need to be present for the drawing.

Those interested in participating can pre-register for the event by contacting Doug Falk at 330-853-0158 for a fee of $35 for a 15-by-20-foot space, or $75 for a 30-by-20-foot space. Walk-ins will also be accepted on the day of the event for any vacant spaces for a fee of $40 for a 15-by-20-foot space, or $80 for a 30-by-20-foot space. Vendors may begin setting up as early as 6 a.m. on July 20 when the park opens, or the night before at their own risk.
