Colorado City Dairy

Whether you’re a fan of classics like Rocky Road or vanilla, Colorado City Creamery has that and more. This Old Colorado City shop offers hand-cranked, parlor-churned ice cream, a sundae bar, cakes, shakes, malt floats and more. Some of the flavors on the menu include butter brickle, French silk and lemon.

With unique names like “Graham Slam” and “Strawberry’s My Jam,” Lolley’s Ice Cream offers a variety of flavors to try. All of the ice cream is made in-house using local milk and cream.

Josh and John’s

Several locations across the state, including three in Colorado Springs: 329 North Tejon, 6896 Centennial Blvd, and 2710 North Gate Blvd.

Josh & John’s has become a fixture in downtown Colorado Springs. And it all started when East Coast transplants John Krakauer and Josh Paris opened their first store in Colorado Springs in the 1980s. Today, the brand has expanded to more cities in Colorado and its artisanal ice cream flavors include the Colorado-themed Purple Mountain Majesty, a dairy-free chocolate peanut butter, and a rotating flavor of the month.
