Since its inception, Catwalk4Cancer has raised over $450,000 for cancer patients in the Geelong region. This year, Ceres Life takes on the naming rights sponsorship, continuing their support for local initiatives. Stephanie Nolan, CEO of Ceres Life, highlights the importance of the event in providing essential financial assistance and raising awareness for cancer patients. She adds that the partnership with Barwon Health Foundation is a testament to Ceres Life’s commitment to supporting the community. Local brands and designers, including Pearls and Roses, Raef The Label, and Reigner, will showcase their collections on the catwalk. The event will also feature designer dress rental services from The Luxe Closet. Popular TV and radio personality Jacqui Felgate, a Ceres Life brand ambassador, will host the evening. Local businesses such as Cancer After Care Group, Geelong Arts Centre, and Igby Productions are also supporting the event. “I’m excited to see Geelong’s creative community come together for such a great cause,” Felgate said. The annual Barwon Health Foundation Catwalk4Cancer partners with Ceres Life to raise much-needed funds for oncology care and treatments.

The Barwon Health Foundation event will raise funds for oncology care and treatments and cancer services at Barwon Health.

Now in its 14th year, the event has raised more than $450,000 for the care and treatment of cancer patients in the Geelong region.

This year’s naming rights sponsor is Ceres Life, who also partnered with the Barwon Health Foundation earlier this year to create a LOVE T-shirt that raised $20,000 for the Andrew Love Cancer Centre.

Stephanie Nolan, CEO of Ceres Life, says the brand is embracing the opportunity to help those in need.

“The Catwalk4Cancer event raises vital funds and awareness for people affected by cancer in the Geelong region,” says Stephanie.

Ceres Life also collaborated with the Barwon Health Foundation earlier this year on a LOVE T-shirt.

“It’s also a chance to come together with other like-minded community members for a fun night of fashion while supporting this great cause. We’re very proud of our Geelong heritage and supporting our local community is part of our core values.”

Reigner Clothing is another local brand participating in the annual fashion event.

Popular television and radio personality Jacqui Felgate, who is also a Ceres Life brand ambassador, will host the event.

Other local brands and designers participating include Pearls and Roses, Raef The Label and Reigner, as well as designer dress rental company The Luxe Closet.

Local businesses supporting the evening include Cancer After Care Group, Geelong Arts Centre, Fundamental Models, Igby Productions, Tess Holmes Makeup, Knockout Brows, Whitford Property and Louve Skin Clinic.

Jacqui says she’s looking forward to hosting the event on September 14. “I’m excited to see Geelong’s style, fashion and creative community supporting Ceres Life Catwalk4Cancer 2024, all for such a great cause.”
