They noted: “It’s a hell of a storyline. So much changes in every episode. That’s kind of why I find it so exciting.”

Emma, ​​meanwhile, commented on the constant changes in the series and the efforts they had to make to keep up.

“There’s so much change in every episode, which is why I find it so exciting. But for me, the biggest challenge of this piece was to make sure you maintain that context throughout.”

The 32-year-old also said that season two raised questions about Rhaenyra Targaryen’s leadership qualities.
