When the first season of Game of Thrones aired in 2011, the legendary land of Westeros was all anyone could talk about. Before you knew it, the world had been transformed into Queen Daenerys Targaryen’s oyster, so to speak. But eight fantastic seasons and five years after the series ended, GoT is still as cherished as it was in its golden age, if not more so.

The groundbreaking HBO tentpole – which made Emilia Clarke a shining example – in all its mythic glory even spawned spin-offs, most of which are in their early stages, save for House of the Dragon . Despite the show’s glittering glory, however, the fantasy spin-off doesn’t seem to have waved the magic wand of stardom for Olivia Cooke the way its predecessor did for Clarke.

House of the Dragon has yet to impress…
