The victim, who was on a motorized scooter, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The suspect fled the scene immediately after the incident. Surveillance footage captured the suspect, who was riding on a motorized scooter alongside another individual. The suspect is described as a male with a thin build, wearing all black clothing and a black helmet. The DC Metro Police Department is urging anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identity or whereabouts to call (202) 727-9099 or submit tips to 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
