Bad – Two people have been killed in a horrific accident on Kwale Kinango Road in Matairini district. Citizen Digital reported that the accident on Monday, July 1, involved a Toyota Voxy that was en route to the Kombani center. Kwale County Police Commander Stephen Ng’etich confirmed the incident, saying the driver of the vehicle carrying Muguka lost control and overturned several times.

“Upon reaching the location, the driver lost control and the vehicle rolled over several times. As a result of the impact, the driver was thrown from the vehicle and suffered head injuries,” Mr Ng’etich said.

Witnesses at the scene rushed to retrieve the ‘muguka’, which was packed in smaller bags, as efforts to rescue the 22-year-old driver continued.
