The data reveals that 1,689 employees were hired across 360 job titles. Education roles comprised 51% of new hires, followed by specialist roles (29%), general roles (16%), and managerial roles (4%). The Civil Service Bureau (CSB) played a pivotal role in facilitating the recruitments, submitting 8,600 CVs to ministries and government agencies. Of the new positions, 1,091 were assigned to ministries and 598 to other government agencies. The CSB utilized its digital system to manage 17,557 applications for 360 job titles. Media announcements for six positions attracted 40 eligible applicants. Efficiency was a priority, with the CSB completing 49,455 procedures related to new employment operations, achieving a 98.8% completion rate. Last year, women made up the majority of new employees in government agencies in various positions, reflecting an important trend in their crucial role in the construction and progress of the country in Bahrain.

According to new data, 1,121 positions were filled by women, accounting for 66.4% of all new jobs. Men filled 568 positions.

The data also shows that government agencies across Bahrain hired a total of 1,689 employees in 2023 across 360 different job titles.

Educational roles accounted for 51% of new hires, followed by specialist roles at 29%, general roles at 16% and managerial roles at 4%.

The Civil Service Bureau (CSB) played a crucial role in facilitating these recruitments, submitting 8,600 CVs to ministries and government agencies.
